About The Role

As a Security Researcher II (WAF), you will lead advanced threat research, develop robust WAF rules, and deliver actionable intelligence to elite global enterprises, driving the next wave of cyber resilience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evaluate advanced WAF detection and mitigation rules for emerging web threats.
Conduct deep-dive vulnerability research on web applications and craft proof‑of‑concept exploits.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI‑driven security insights into the Safe platform.
Produce detailed technical reports and threat intelligence briefs for senior leadership and Fortune‑500 clients.
Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open‑source security tooling.

Requirements

  • M.Tech or B.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
  • 3+ years hands‑on experience with Web Application Firewalls (e.g., ModSecurity, Cloudflare WAF).
  • Proficiency in Python/Go for scripting automated security tests.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, HTTP protocols, and modern web attack vectors.
  • Experience with AI/ML‑based security analytics is a plus.
