About The Role

Eqvilent is a fast‑growing product‑focused fintech startup building cutting‑edge algorithmic trading platforms for institutional clients. As a Software Developer in Algorithmic Engineering, you will design and implement high‑performance C/C++ solutions, write asynchronous and thread‑safe code, and collaborate closely with quant researchers to translate research into production‑ready systems. You will contribute to low‑latency infrastructure, participate in code reviews, and help shape a culture of technical excellence while working remotely.

Responsibilities

Implementation of high‑performance trading algorithms with maintainable code
Collaborate closely with Quantitative Research team to translate research into production
Develop asynchronous, thread‑safe, network‑centric C/C++ modules on Linux
Optimize data structures and algorithmic solutions for low latency
Participate in code reviews and continuous integration pipelines

Requirements

  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms and competitive programming experience
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming
  • Hands‑on experience with Linux development and multithreading
  • Ability to write asynchronous and template‑heavy code
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
