About The Role

Digital certificate authority DigiCert, a global leader in PKI and trust solutions, is expanding its cybersecurity team in Bangalore. As an Application Security Engineer, you will embed security into the software development lifecycle, perform code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and support DevSecOps initiatives to protect web applications and services. Responsibilities

Support integration of security controls across SDLC phases.
Conduct static and dynamic code analysis and assist in penetration testing.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
Develop and promote secure coding guidelines and best practices.
Assist in implementing DevSecOps tooling and automation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of application security principles and OWASP Top 10.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAST and DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube, Burp Suite).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
