About The Role

Simfluent is a fast‑growing SaaS startup based in Noida, delivering an AI‑driven recruitment platform that streamlines the entire hiring lifecycle for enterprise clients. As a Software Developer on the Platform team, you will own backend services, design robust data models, and integrate critical third‑party systems, ensuring high‑performance, multi‑tenant operations while contributing to on‑call support and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain REST API endpoints using FastAPI.
Design and implement PostgreSQL schemas, indexing, and migrations.
Develop async worker tasks with AWS SQS and Celery.
Integrate third‑party services such as Lever ATS, SendGrid and AWS S3.
Participate in code reviews, on‑call rotation and write production runbooks.

Requirements

  • Strong Python programming with FastAPI and asyncio.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic migrations and query optimisation.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of AWS SQS, Celery and message‑queue patterns.
  • Building multi‑tenant SaaS architectures and REST API integrations.
  • Writing unit, integration and async tests using pytest.
