About The Role

JumpCloud is an AI‑powered unified IT management platform that secures modern workforces by consolidating identity, device and access management. As a Site Reliability Engineer based in Bangalore (remote), you will ensure high availability and performance of cloud‑native services, build observability, automate infrastructure, and drive reliability best practices across multi‑cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy and maintain reliability, availability and performance of critical JumpCloud systems and APIs across AWS and GCP.
Operationalize SLIs, SLOs and error budgets in partnership with application teams.
Build end‑to‑end observability using Datadog and implement Golden Signals monitoring.
Manage production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters via GitOps workflows (Argo CD, Kargo).
Develop disaster‑recovery dashboards, runbooks and automation to meet RTO/RPO targets.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Python or Go.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for multi‑cloud infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and implementing SLI/SLO frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of incident management, on‑call rotation and post‑mortem analysis.
