About The Role

Infosys, a leading global technology services firm, is expanding its AI/ML capabilities in Bangalore. The AI/ML Engineer will drive the creation of intelligent data solutions using Snowflake Cortex and advanced machine learning techniques, delivering scalable analytics and generative AI products for enterprise clients. This role offers exposure to cutting‑edge AI technologies within a collaborative, innovation‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement AI‑powered data pipelines on Snowflake using Cortex AI functions such as AI_COMPLETE, AI_CLASSIFY, and AI_EMBED.

Develop, train, and fine‑tune machine learning models for generative AI use‑cases like summarization, classification, and semantic search.

Optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations for performance and cost efficiency in a cloud data warehouse.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.

Conduct data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting for both structured and unstructured datasets.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake data warehousing concepts.
Hands‑on experience with Python for data processing and machine learning.
Solid understanding of generative AI/LLM fundamentals and Snowflake Cortex AI functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills applied to large‑scale data sets.
