About The Role

Eqvilent is a fast‑growing Indian startup building high‑performance trading platforms for global markets. As a Software Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize C++ components that power low‑latency trading systems, collaborate with distributed teams, and ensure robust, scalable solutions. The role offers challenging problems, rapid feedback cycles, and the chance to work on cutting‑edge fintech technology from anywhere in India.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the trading platform

Write asynchronous, template-based, network and thread-safe code

Optimize performance for low-latency trading operations

Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams to deliver features

Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality

Requirements

Strong proficiency in C++ with solid understanding of OOP, data structures and algorithms
Experience with Linux system internals and multithreaded programming
Ability to write efficient asynchronous and network code
Good command of spoken and written English for international collaboration
Proven ability to work effectively in remote/hybrid team environments
