About The Role

Eqvilent is a global fintech MNC delivering low‑latency trading platforms. We are seeking a Data Center Engineer to lead testing, validation, and lifecycle management of server and network hardware that powers our distributed trading infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on hardware acceptance, maintenance planning, coordination with onsite teams, and detailed documentation, ensuring high‑performance, reliable systems for our traders worldwide.

Responsibilities

Test and compare server and networking hardware configurations for performance and stability

Own hardware acceptance including burn‑in, firmware/BIOS baselines and known‑good configurations

Plan, schedule and coordinate hardware maintenance and upgrades across multiple sites

Work with onsite providers/contractors to execute installations, validate evidence and ensure quality

Produce documentation such as test results, approved SKUs, configuration standards and runbooks

Requirements

Strong understanding of server hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage, NICs, firmware/BIOS, FPGA)
Good grasp of networking fundamentals and protocols
Basic Linux command‑line skills for testing and benchmarking
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and make RMA decisions
