About The Role

Okta, a global leader in identity management, is expanding its Professional Services R&D team in Bengaluru. As a Software Engineer, you will design and build reusable, scalable tools that empower delivery teams and accelerate customer value. Working with diverse technologies such as Java, React, Node, Python, and .NET, you’ll collaborate across functions to create high‑impact solutions, mentor peers, and drive engineering excellence in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality reusable software assets and tools.
Collaborate with architects, delivery consultants, and product managers to define requirements and drive innovation.
Write clean, maintainable code across Java, React, Node, Python, .NET stacks.
Create proofs-of-concept and prototypes to explore new technologies.
Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Java and at least one of React, Node.js, Python, or .NET.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented code and conduct code reviews.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
