About The Role

Okta, the world’s leading identity management platform, helps enterprises secure access to applications and data across cloud and on‑prem environments. As a Site Reliability Engineer II in Bengaluru, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Okta’s Emerging Products cloud services, building automation, monitoring, and incident response capabilities while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver seamless identity experiences.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain highly available cloud services.
Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual toil.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root cause analysis.
Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and scalability.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and networking.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or Bash.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
