About The Role

HackerRank, a leading global platform that helps top tech companies assess and upskill developers, is seeking Software Development Engineer Interns for its Bengaluru office. Over a six‑month full‑time stint, interns will work on real‑world product features, receive mentorship from senior engineers, and contribute code that powers millions of developers worldwide. This role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test scalable backend services for the HackerRank platform.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones.
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring high reliability.
Contribute to documentation and unit test coverage.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BCA in Computer Science or related field with expected graduation 2024‑2027.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a team.
