About The Role

Rackner, a leading defense‑technology service provider, is expanding its remote R&D team in India. As a Software/AI Developer you will create cutting‑edge AI‑enabled applications, backend services and data workflows that support critical government missions. You will collaborate with global engineers, prototype innovative solutions, and transform research into operational capabilities, all from a remote work setting.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and maintain mission‑focused software and AI prototypes.

Build backend services, APIs and data pipelines for defense applications.

Integrate large language models and machine learning models into production‑grade tools.

Collaborate with R&D engineers and stakeholders to deliver demos and proofs of concept.

Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python or C++ for backend development.
Experience with RESTful API design and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Hands‑on knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or LangChain.
Understanding of data engineering concepts: ingestion, transformation, validation.
Ability to work in fast‑changing R&D environments and deliver prototypes quickly.
