About The Role

Abnormal AI, a fast‑growing AI‑native cybersecurity startup, is building Nora, an internal AI platform that powers every workflow. As a Software Engineer II on the AI Transformation Engineering team, you will create scalable backend services, integrate AI across core systems, and deliver infrastructure that drives real business impact in a hybrid Bangalore setting.

Responsibilities

Build and ship services, factories, and sandboxes for the Nora AI platform.

Develop connectors and integrations to embed AI into Salesforce, Jira, data warehouses and internal apps.

Design and implement new infrastructure components, define SLOs, and handoff ownership to platform teams.

Own measurable business outcomes such as revenue impact, cost savings, or productivity gains.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong backend development skills in Python.
Hands‑on experience with AI APIs (Claude, Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI) and building plugins or integrations.
Proficiency in designing scalable, reliable services and APIs.
Experience integrating with enterprise systems like Salesforce or Jira.
