About The Role

Rackner, a fast-growing AI-focused startup, is modernizing federal data platforms by delivering production-ready intelligent automation. As an AI/ML Engineer you will design and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, evaluate emerging LLM technologies, and ensure responsible AI governance. Collaborating with engineering, data, and cybersecurity teams, you will turn complex operational problems into scalable AI products that drive real-world impact across the organization.

Responsibilities

Translate operational challenges into AI use cases, technical requirements, and solution designs
Build, test, and deploy AI applications, agents, intelligent workflows, and process automations
Develop Python prototypes, integrate AI models with enterprise APIs and data platforms
Evaluate generative AI and LLM platforms for security, scalability, and compliance
Monitor deployed solutions, implement responsible-AI controls, and iterate based on performance

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Experience building end-to-end AI/ML pipelines and deploying models in production
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and API integration
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions
