As a Distributed Systems Engineer, you will design and build high‑performance streaming APIs and secure telemetry platforms for a global SaaS offering, working remotely with a diverse, distributed team. Responsibilities

Collaborate with globally distributed teams to design and implement high‑throughput data streaming APIs.

Architect and develop scalable cloud‑native SaaS services for IoT telemetry using Python and Go.

Build governance, auditing, and security frameworks to ensure data compliance.

Optimize performance and reliability of distributed systems across multi‑region deployments.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to open‑source components of the Ubuntu ecosystem.

Requirements

Strong programming experience in Python and Go for backend services.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and REST/gRPC APIs.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Proficiency in Linux environments and open‑source tooling.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (2020‑2024 passout).
