About The Role

Axle Informatics is a cutting‑edge bioscience and IT firm delivering data‑driven solutions to research institutions and healthcare organizations worldwide. As a Full Stack Developer, you will join a diverse team building the NCATS Notebooks Hub—a cloud‑native platform that enables interactive data analysis, visualization, and collaborative research. You’ll work with modern web technologies, cloud services, and container orchestration to accelerate scientific discoveries.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑functional team to design and develop the NCATS Notebooks Hub cloud‑native platform.

Implement responsive front‑end interfaces using React/Angular and build scalable back‑end services with Node.js/Express.

Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes/AWS.

Create RESTful APIs and integrate data visualization dashboards for scientific data exploration.

Maintain code quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front‑end frameworks (React or Angular).
Hands‑on experience with Node.js/Express for back‑end development.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational/NoSQL databases.
Good command of Git and Agile development practices.
