About The Role

Glance, the intelligent shopping agent powered by InMobi, delivers hyper‑personalized experiences on mobile and TV. As an Applied Scientist II, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of large‑scale recommendation systems that drive Glance’s lock‑screen and live entertainment personalization, leveraging cutting‑edge ML and AI research to shape the future of agentic commerce.

Responsibilities

Design and develop large‑scale recommendation systems using advanced ML, statistical modelling and deep learning.
Build, train and deploy machine learning models on high‑volume, diverse data sources.
Collaborate with product, engineering and data teams to integrate models into Glance’s personalized lock‑screen and live entertainment experiences.
Conduct experiments, A/B testing and performance monitoring to continuously improve recommendation quality.
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to research publications within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in classical machine learning and statistical modelling.
  • Hands‑on experience building and scaling recommendation systems (ranking, collaborative filtering, deep learning).
  • Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with big‑data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Flink).
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and software engineering best practices.
