About The Role

Eqvilent is a fast‑growing Indian startup specializing in high‑performance data analytics and AI research platforms. As a Remote Linux Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, deploy, and optimize bare‑metal and clustered Linux environments, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance for mission‑critical workloads across multiple data centers.

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain Linux-based bare‑metal servers across multiple data centers
Build and operate clustered environments including virtualization, storage, GPU compute and database clusters
Troubleshoot complex Linux, hardware, networking and cluster‑level issues
Performance tune systems for throughput, latency, stability and optimal resource utilization
Monitor infrastructure health, identify bottlenecks and implement preventive measures

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Linux system administration on bare‑metal servers
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware) and container platforms
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana or Nagios
