About The Role

Redhorse Corporation, a leading service‑based technology solutions provider, is modernizing a critical U.S. government legacy system. As an Everything Engineer with a backend focus, you will drive the creation of a secure, high‑performance web platform, leveraging AI‑assisted development, test‑driven practices, and rigorous compliance standards to support international security cooperation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services for a modern web platform replacing legacy mission-critical system

Decompose complex requirements into precise specs for AI‑assisted code generation and review

Implement test‑driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and rigorous code reviews for a regulated federal financial system

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance, performance, and security standards are met

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework
Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
Hands‑on with relational databases (SQL, stored procedures) and performance tuning
Familiarity with test‑driven development, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Ability to work with AI‑assisted development tools and conduct thorough code reviews
