About The Role

Monks is a fast-growing creative startup in India that blends cutting-edge generative AI with storytelling to produce high-impact visual content for brands and media platforms. As an AI Generative Artist (Freelance), you will craft AI-driven images and videos, elevate raw outputs through expert post-production, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compelling, publication-ready visuals that set new aesthetic standards in the digital era.

Responsibilities

Concept and produce AI-generated static and moving image content for multi-platform publishing
Refine raw AI output through compositing, colour grading and VFX to publication-ready quality
Collaborate with creative, editorial and technical teams across concurrent projects
Monitor global AI-visual trends and integrate cutting-edge tools into workflow

Requirements

  • Proven portfolio of AI-generated visuals and video work
  • Hands-on expertise with leading generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway)
  • Strong background in compositing, VFX or video editing (Adobe After Effects, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Excellent eye for composition, colour tone and visual storytelling
  • Ability to communicate creative decisions clearly and take direction
