About The Role

AlphaSense, a leading AI‑powered market intelligence platform trusted by over 6,000 enterprises worldwide, is expanding its security operations with an AI‑augmented approach. As a Security Automation Engineer (Remote – India), you will create and maintain automated detection, investigation, and response pipelines, working closely with detection engineers, threat analysts, and ML teams to accelerate threat mitigation at machine speed and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain security automation pipelines for AI-driven detection and response.
Build and integrate tooling with SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security platforms.
Collaborate with detection engineers, threat intel analysts, and AI/ML teams to translate manual processes into automated workflows.
Ensure automation solutions are observable, testable, and adhere to security best practices.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve automation efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Python or Go for automation scripting.
  • Hands‑on experience with security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) tools such as Cortex XSOAR or Splunk Phantom.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control (Git).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; 0–3 years of relevant experience.
