About The Role

Safe is a Series C-funded AI-driven cybersecurity leader serving 10% of the Fortune 500, including Apple and Netflix. As a Software Development Engineer II in Bengaluru, you will build lightweight security sensors and agents that feed real-time risk data into Safe’s platform. You’ll work in a high-intensity, ownership-focused environment, delivering robust, Tier-1 code that protects global enterprises.

Responsibilities

Design and develop lightweight security sensors/agents for enterprise environments.
Implement system-level security features and integrate with AI-driven risk engine.
Conduct performance optimization, testing, and debugging of sensor code across Linux/Windows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, security, data science) to define requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
Contribute to security research, threat modeling, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong programming in C/C++ and Go or Rust for low-level system development.
  • Experience with Linux kernel, drivers, or Windows services and networking stacks.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat detection, and secure coding practices.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of software development experience in security or embedded systems.
