About The Role

Sitetracker, a fast‑growing SaaS startup in Bangalore, is seeking a Platform Upgrade Operations Engineer to streamline and automate Salesforce upgrades for enterprise clients. The role blends deep Salesforce administration expertise with Copado automation, ensuring reliable, scalable rollouts while enhancing customer trust through meticulous validation and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute multi‑week, phased Salesforce managed‑package upgrades across sandbox, UAT and Production environments.
Perform rigorous pre‑ and post‑upgrade validation, backup comparisons and permission‑set checks to ensure zero regression.
Coordinate with implementation partners and customers, providing clear status updates and creating reusable runbooks.
Automate manual upgrade steps using Copado, CRT and scripting to improve predictability and scalability.
Monitor post‑upgrade health and troubleshoot any issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce administration and managed‑package upgrades.
  • Proficiency in Copado and Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) for automation.
  • Ability to read and understand Apex/Visualforce code and troubleshoot configuration issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on automation.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and partners.
