About The Role

Rubrik, a global leader in cloud data management and security, is expanding its Cloud Native Protection team in Bangalore. As a Software Engineer, you will design and build scalable, secure solutions that safeguard customers' cloud data. You will work on cutting‑edge distributed systems, collaborate with a high‑performance engineering culture, and drive innovation in data protection across multi‑cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Build cloud native protection software leveraging distributed systems and cloud platforms.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve the product.
Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables with technical expertise.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability and security.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java or Python.
  • Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of data security, encryption and backup concepts.
  • Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control (Git).
