About The Role

Join HackerRank, a leading global platform that helps top tech companies assess and upskill developers through skill‑based coding challenges. As a DevRel Engineer II in Bangalore, you will shape the product roadmap, collaborate with a worldwide network of subject‑matter experts, and build tools that enhance content quality and adoption. You’ll work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, and customers to deliver fair, AI‑enabled assessments that drive hiring success.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a global network of experts to create high‑quality coding challenges.

Own and prioritize the product roadmap for the coding challenge platform and content ecosystem.

Develop and enhance tools that automate content creation, improve quality, and support emerging technologies.

Collaborate with customers to understand workflows and deliver tailored solutions that boost adoption.

Leverage data, automation, and AI to ensure fairness, validity, and superior developer experience.

Requirements

Strong programming background with proficiency in at least one major language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
Experience in developer relations, community building, or product management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable product solutions.
Familiarity with data analysis, automation, and AI‑driven content pipelines.
