About The Role

Drivetrain is a fast‑growing SaaS startup that empowers businesses with financial planning and decision‑making tools. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will architect and maintain a highly available, secure multi‑cloud infrastructure, drive automation, and embed reliability practices across the engineering organization, ensuring our platform scales seamlessly while protecting sensitive financial data.

Responsibilities

Architect and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP for maximum cost-efficiency and security compliance
Lead design, deployment, and scaling of Kubernetes clusters using Kustomize and Helm for repeatable, automated environments
Implement and maintain service mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd) to secure inter-service communication and enforce zero-trust policies
Drive observability and monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) to ensure proactive incident detection and rapid root-cause analysis
Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability practices from code commit to production, championing a culture of resilience

Requirements

  • Proficient in AWS and GCP cloud services with hands-on experience in cost optimization and security hardening
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, cluster management, and CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads
  • Strong knowledge of service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) and network security best practices for SaaS platforms
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and configuration management (Kustomize, Helm)
  • Solid understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and incident response workflows
