About The Role

Zoho, a global leader in SaaS solutions, is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to drive full‑stack development of its cloud‑native applications. The role involves designing scalable features, ensuring code quality, supporting production systems, and collaborating across product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software enhancements and new features.
Take ownership of assigned features and components from development through deployment and production support.
Write and maintain automated tests and participate in peer code reviews.
Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Monitor application performance and partner with DevOps to ensure reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript (Node.js/React).
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
