About The Role

Tide is a fast‑growing fintech that empowers SMEs with banking and administrative solutions. As a Security Engineer in the Vulnerability Management team, you will drive the remediation of security findings, collaborate with engineering to reduce risk, and help maintain a secure product ecosystem for over 2 million global members. Your role will involve continuous monitoring, reporting on risk metrics, and contributing to the design of secure features.

Responsibilities

Identify and triage vulnerabilities across product stack
Prioritise findings based on risk and business impact
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to drive remediation
Maintain and improve vulnerability management tooling and processes
Report on risk reduction metrics to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS)
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation
  • In-depth knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common web application vulnerabilities
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
  • Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals (AWS/GCP/Azure)
