About The Role

Simfluent is a fast‑growing startup revolutionizing recruitment with AI‑powered automation. As a Software Developer on the Platform team in Noida, you will architect and build high‑performance backend services, design scalable multi‑tenant data models, and integrate third‑party tools like Lever ATS and SendGrid. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, write robust tests, and contribute to on‑call support, driving the platform’s reliability and growth.

Responsibilities

Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI for recruiter pipeline and candidate management.

Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexing, and migrations with Alembic.

Build multi-tenant data access patterns ensuring tenant isolation across all queries.

Develop async worker tasks with AWS SQS and Celery for pipeline automation and webhook handling.

Write comprehensive unit, integration, and async tests; participate in code reviews and on-call incident resolution.

Requirements

1+ years of backend development experience in Python.
Proficiency with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and PostgreSQL.
Strong knowledge of async programming, Celery, and AWS SQS.
Experience designing multi-tenant architectures and database schema optimization.
Familiarity with REST API design, OAuth, and webhook integrations.
