About The Role

JumpCloud is a leading AI‑powered identity and access management platform that helps enterprises secure users, devices, and workloads. As a Software Engineer II on the Cloud LDAP team, you will build and operate high‑availability LDAP services, implement core protocol features, and ensure seamless directory synchronization at scale. The role offers remote work from Bangalore, exposure to cutting‑edge cloud technologies, and the chance to innovate using AI‑driven development tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable LDAP-as-a-Service components including protocol proxies and sync workers.

Implement core LDAP operations (bind, search, compare) with security features such as MFA-aware flows and TLS.

Build and maintain data pipelines for directory synchronization, replication to regional read replicas, and high‑availability mechanisms.

Operate containerized services on Docker/Kubernetes and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development while ensuring code quality and test coverage.

Requirements

2+ years of backend development experience in Go, Python or Node.js.
Strong understanding of LDAP protocol, directory services, and authentication mechanisms.
Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB).
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
