About The Role

66degrees is an end‑to‑end AI transformation partner that empowers enterprises to turn complex data into strategic assets. As a Cloud Engineer, you will architect, deploy, and maintain robust GCP infrastructures for global clients, driving scalable AI and data solutions while ensuring security, cost efficiency, and high availability. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, AI specialists, and product teams to translate business requirements into cloud-native solutions, leveraging automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable GCP infrastructure for enterprise clients.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and reliability.
Collaborate with data science and AI teams to integrate data pipelines and AI workloads.
Ensure security compliance and implement IAM, VPC, and network policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
