About The Role

Company DigiCert is a global leader in digital trust, protecting the world with AI-powered certificate management. Based in Bangalore, we are seeking a Cloud Database Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, highly available database platforms on AWS and distributed environments. The role focuses on infrastructure as code, automation, reliability, and performance, partnering with engineering teams to optimize data architecture and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage AWS RDS and Aurora environments (Aurora, MariaDB, Postgres).

Operate and optimize Apache Cassandra clusters in distributed, multi-region environments.

Build and maintain database infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

Drive standardization and automation of database platform operations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data architecture and performance.

Requirements

Proficiency in AWS database services (RDS, Aurora) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
Experience with Terraform and IaC best practices.
Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
Solid understanding of database performance tuning and monitoring.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
