About The Role
Portcast is a logistics technology startup building a real-time transportation visibility platform. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to develop new products, scale existing ones, and manage deployments and architecture.
Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems
Collaborate closely with Business, Product and Data Science teams
Design, Develop, Implement and Deploy enterprise level, high availability web application platforms
Create a technology infrastructure that functions well at scale
Design and improve the system architecture
Own end-to-end the design AND implementation of how our system works
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Backend Engineering
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design
- Experience with API design and development
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with high availability web application platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills
