About The Role
Join Instawork's Bengaluru robotics team as an early-career Software Engineer and contribute to the development of InstaCore, a custom multi-camera/sensor hardware used in physical AI data collection.
Responsibilities
Design and implement software solutions for InstaCore, a custom multi-camera/sensor hardware used in physical AI data collection.
Own day-to-day debugging, bring-up, and reliability of InstaCore.
Collaborate with the robotics team to drive the development of InstaCore.
Write and reason about software, including scripts, diagnostics, firmware interfaces, and calibration tooling.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with InstaCore, including tracing failures from log to sensor to board.
Drive the development of small tools and explore unfamiliar codebases.
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with software development, debugging, and testing.
- Familiarity with hardware, including sensors, cameras, and firmware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
