Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test features for messaging, caching, and event-driven platform services

Contribute to internal SDKs and client libraries that standardize interactions with cloud messaging systems

Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance through monitoring, logging, tracing, and automation

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) discussions and implement long-term fixes for platform issues

Collaborate with engineers to review designs, share feedback, and adopt distributed systems best practices

Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure software quality and maintainability

Work with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to deploy changes safely using canary releases and feature flags

Follow secure coding practices and ensure proper handling of credentials, secrets, and access controls

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a BE/BTech, ME/MTech, or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related fields
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving concepts
Programming experience in Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar languages
Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, networking concepts, HTTP, and TCP/IP
Familiarity with Linux or UNIX-based operating systems and command-line tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in collaborative environments
Interest in cloud technologies, backend systems, and infrastructure engineering
