Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend applications and services

Build and enhance APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot and/or Python Flask

Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for relational databases such as PostgreSQL

Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software features

Work with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines as part of the development process

Follow software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code

Demonstrate ownership, continuous learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
0–3 years of experience in software development or backend engineering
Knowledge of Java or Python programming (experience with both is an advantage)
Understanding of Spring Boot, Flask, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts
Experience with Git and basic CI/CD practices
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business requirements
