Responsibilities

Research and integrate APIs from insurance carriers and external systems

Design scalable solutions for unified commercial insurance API platforms

Develop backend and frontend features for enterprise customers

Build reusable software components and integrations for multiple client use cases

Identify opportunities to improve system quality, reliability, and scalability

Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business and technical challenges

Work with AI-powered development tools and modern engineering workflows

Requirements

3+ years of production software development experience
Strong understanding of backend systems, RESTful APIs, and modern web technologies
Ability to work independently and manage projects end-to-end
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving requirements
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Experience leveraging AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude
Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
