Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs under engineering guidance.
Deliver well-scoped product features end-to-end.
Write clean, tested, and maintainable backend code.
Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions.
Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams for customer-facing releases.
Debug production issues and improve logging and monitoring practices.
Contribute to backend performance tuning, query optimization, and caching strategies.
Learn scalable backend architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of backend development experience in Node.js, Java, Go, Python, or similar language.
  • Ability to build and ship backend services or APIs.
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL including queries, indexing, and schema basics.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
