Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain public-facing RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.

Architect scalable backend systems with modular and testable code structures.

Implement asynchronous task processing using Celery.

Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexing, and query performance.

Deploy, monitor, and scale backend services on AWS infrastructure.

Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.

Build observability systems including logging, metrics, and tracing.

Write unit and integration tests for production reliability.

Participate in architecture discussions and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

2 to 3.5 years of experience in full-stack or backend software development.
Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST frameworks.
Strong understanding of REST API design, versioning, and backward compatibility.
Solid PostgreSQL knowledge, including transactions and query optimization.
Experience with AWS cloud services and Docker-based deployments.
Understanding of authentication systems such as OAuth2 and JWT.
