Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Perform API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, and Java-based frameworks.
Execute UI automation using Selenium with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Prepare test plans, test cases, scripts, and quality reports.
Identify, log, and track defects while collaborating with development teams for resolution.
Validate database responses using SQL queries.
Test API security for authentication, authorization, and data protection standards.
Work closely with developers, analysts, and QA teams to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in API testing and automation engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, and Postman.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API documentation tools such as Swagger.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and test lifecycle processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for validation tasks.
  • Understanding of banking domain applications and enterprise QA standards.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
