Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer 1 at Intuit, you’ll have the opportunity to work across various technology stacks—frontend, backend, full-stack, or mobile development. You’ll collaborate with world-class engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications used by millions of customers.
Frontend Engineering:
Develop responsive, dynamic web applications using React, AngularJS, or Vue.js.
Implement and maintain clean, accessible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript codebases.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to enhance user experiences.
Backend Engineering:
Build reliable web services and APIs using Java, Python, or Node.js.
Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with client-side applications.
Full Stack Engineering:
Combine frontend and backend development to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Collaborate across disciplines in Agile Scrum teams using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Travis CI.
Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions.
Mobile Engineering:
Develop Android and iOS apps using React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Java.
Integrate mobile apps with cloud APIs and ensure high performance and usability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic awareness of AI/ML concepts and a passion for innovation.
