This Software Engineering Intern – Backend role in Bengaluru provides hands-on experience in backend development, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and DevOps while working closely with experienced engineers 🚀.

Responsibilities

Learn and work with distributed backend technologies in real engineering environments.

Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.

Participate in building new product features and debugging production issues.

Work across microservices, cloud systems, data tools, and DevOps workflows.

Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively resolve bugs.

Contribute throughout the full application lifecycle, from development to deployment.

Explore new frameworks, tools, and backend engineering practices.

Document technical learnings by contributing to engineering knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python.
Familiarity with at least one Python web framework, preferably Django.
Good understanding of backend development and web application fundamentals.
Interest in building scalable web applications.
Ability to solve complex technical problems creatively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and technologies quickly.
Availability for 4–6 months internship duration.
