This Applications Engineering Intern role in India (Remote) is a great opportunity for candidates who want hands-on exposure to AI workflow development, data systems, and modern SaaS engineering practices while working closely with experienced mentors.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and testing AI workflows such as LangGraph-based flows under guidance.

Support development of reusable workflow components like nodes, validations, retries, and fallbacks.

Test tool execution outputs to ensure they are structured, safe, and meet acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with Business Analysts and mentors to translate business needs into technical tasks.

Assist in maintaining internal APIs and agent-accessible services, including data retrieval using Snowflake queries.

Support evaluation and monitoring of workflows by tracking latency, cost, and error metrics.

Contribute to transcription workflow improvements including data ingestion, cleanup, validation, and retrieval testing.

Learn reliability concepts like queues, retries, idempotency, and workers through testing and documentation.

Assist in rubric-based call scoring validation and ensure outputs are correctly published for operations.

Support exploratory work around streaming data systems and data flow understanding.

Deliver small scoped tasks, document outcomes, and apply feedback quickly.

Requirements

Strong learning mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive attitude with ability to take ownership of small tasks.
Strong coding fundamentals in Python and/or TypeScript.
Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with warehouse-backed applications.
Basic understanding of API/service development concepts.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a remote team.
Comfortable adapting quickly to new tools and workflows.
