This Software Engineer Intern role in Bengaluru is a valuable opportunity for university students to gain hands-on experience in full stack development using React, Node.js, and Microsoft Azure while working in an Agile product engineering team.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing frontend features using React, including UI components and state management.

Support backend development using Node.js, including APIs and service integrations.

Work with Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, and DevOps pipelines.

Participate in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for smooth frontend-backend communication.

Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Debug and troubleshoot issues across frontend and backend systems.

Use Git workflows including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.

Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and break down tasks efficiently.

Support deployment activities and monitor builds using Azure pipelines.

Assist with unit testing and basic automated testing.

Document technical decisions, API specifications, and implemented features.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Continuously learn modern development practices in React, Node.js, and Azure.

Requirements

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
Knowledge of React.js and Node.js development basics.
Familiarity with REST APIs and web application workflows.
Basic understanding of cloud concepts, preferably Azure.
Experience using Git and version control practices.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced product engineering team.
