This SDE 1 – Backend role in Bengaluru is ideal for engineers with 1 to 2.5 years of experience who want to work on impactful systems and strengthen their core coding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend services for travel and booking platforms.

Solve complex engineering problems using data structures and algorithms.

Implement clean and efficient backend logic using Java.

Build APIs and backend workflows to support product features.

Participate in machine coding rounds and real-world backend development challenges.

Debug and optimize existing services for better performance and reliability.

Collaborate with engineering teams and hiring managers during evaluations.

Contribute to production-ready code following best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

1 to 2.5 years of experience in backend development.
Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
Ability to clear online coding assessments (HackerEarth).
Strong coding ability in Java (mandatory for machine coding round).
Availability to attend final in-person interview rounds in Bengaluru between 16th Feb to 24th Feb.
Understanding of backend development fundamentals and scalable system design basics.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a product-based environment.
